I have over 400 pictures from my wedding/honeymoon trip.. I decided to just post a few pics and A poem (Ok so maybe 3 blogs ---it could easily by 7 if I posted all the pics.......For the rest of the pics ---check out my most recent Maui/Honeymoon related picture folders.....(still need to post the Road to Hana pictures)
Anyway here is my short little poem that I think captures the moment.
Into the sky
Between two worlds
The world we leave behind
And the world that lays ahead
Floating between the clouds
A Corridor in the sky
Between two worlds
One of the rare moments in time
Like a caterpillar in a cocoon
It perfectly describes a honeymoon
A honeymoon is like a beautiful photograph
The sunsets are always gorgeous
Rainbows shine on command
There are no worries
Other than getting to the Luau on time
You fly between the clouds
To a place where only the two of you exist
The others on this island in the sky are just hired hands
On your fantasy island
They exist only to bring you Mai Tais
and serve you Caesar salads
As you look out at the infinite ocean
A Precious moment in time
In a magical place
Where crystal ice blue waves crash upon the shore
Where the sky is full of stars
And moonlit kisses taste like fine wine
Then into the sky we fly
Between two worlds
The world we have left behind
And the future in which we land
